Hello and of course good morning all of you…! First, for all of you: Happy Memorial Day…! For Elise and me, we went on a three-day road trip to the Yakima River, with five of our great friends joining with us to go fly fishing on the Yakima River. The trip was amazing for all of us to meet up and see each other again after many months, and a whole year in terms of one of the guys. We all stayed at the hotel called Canyon River Ranch, which is on the Yakima River. We had an awesome guide on my drift boat named Rocky. It was great that all the guys who went fly fishing caught some trout, and we are do what is called “catch and release” all the trout that we temporally catch. What was great apparently, is that I caught and released the first trout, the biggest trout, and the highest number of trout the whole day…! We got on our three-person sized boats, including Rocky, on my boat around 9:00 am, and we finished our route down the river at about 4:00 pm. For our awesome lunch located on the river, Rocky had already made our sandwiches which were great, and he recognized my need for gluten free. All of us who stayed at Canyon River Ranch went to dinner at the Canyon River Grill, which is a fabulous restaurant, and they had some delicious options that are gluten free. We will return to the Yakima River to go fly fishing and we will stay at the hotel at some point in the future. I will also love the opportunity to go back to this river to fish with my oldest daughter Aden, who loves to go fly fishing as well…! It has been several years since Aden and I went to the Yakima River to go fly fishing, so it will be awesome to do this again soon…!
