My year 2025 “Personal Goals”

  1. Walk around the entire Green Lake using my two walking canes:

– Walk one mile

– Walk 2.7 miles

  • Ride on one my three-wheeled road bicycle on various longer distance rides:

    – Ride across the “Lake Washington” bridge, which is about seven miles in total.

    – Ride a portion of the annual “Hilly Chilly” bicycle ride that goes around “Bainbridge   Island’ along with Bob Donaldson whom I will also rode next to him, ride, just like we have done several years in the past.

  • Go fly fishing on various rivers, start getting into & out of a fly-fishing drift boat, & also start to be tying flies:

     – The “Yakima River”, which is in Ellensburg, Washington.

     – The “Green River”, which is in Jackson, Wyoming.

     – The “Yellowstone River”, which is in Montana.

  • Play my acoustic guitars & my fiddler:

     – Play my “Huss & Dalton Acoustic Guitar”.

     – Play “Martin Acoustic Guitar”.

     – Learn how to play my Mandolin fiddler again as I go through & carefully review the “Mandolin Fiddle From Scratch”, which is an awesome book that was written by Bruce Emery.

     – Start to learn how to play some of my favorite songs via using one of my acoustic guitars.

                    5.    Start to practice driving our “Lexus” truck again, versus just riding in it as a passenger.

My year 2025 “Travel Goals” for Elise and me:

  1. Drive to Utah with Elise, & we will both ride on a challenging & fantastic road bicycle ride at the Utah National Park!
  2. Go to Jackson, Mississippi to see Elise’s mom, Betsy!
  3. Go to Virginia to see Becky and Jay Sweda, & probably also to see David Bell and his wife as well. If Elise & I have the time & the opportunity to do it, I would love for us to visit the Huss & Dalton acoustic guitar building business who built my fantastic “Huss & Dalton Acoustic Guitar” that I purchased several years ago!
  4. Go to Jackson, Wyoming with the Craig & Tara Parsons family, the Jeff & Dana Weitzenberg family, & of course our family in the spring, summer, or fall of this year! Our plan is that all of us will spend one of our days where each of us will individually be horseback riding together outdoors on great terrain. On the second day of our trip, we will all go to a great local river & we will all going to try do the  “catching  & releasing of a  rainbow trout” via that each of us will be going fly fishing from different  drift boats where each one of the drift boats will have two of us on it , along with the rower of that drift boat as well, for sure!
