Hello all of you, & good morning! On Friday, the 4^th of July, Elise & I had a fantastic day. We enjoyed it because it was a three-day weekend this year, for sure! I started the first day riding our Peleton bicycle. At 11am, Elise & I participated in the Hawthorne Hills annual kid’s parade. This event was fantastic to do this year because we invited two young boys & their father who are from Africa. Our three daughters have participated in this event many times. Later in the day,  Elise & I went to View Ridge Pool & Tennis club, & we spent some great time with two of our friends. We watched the games that the children did, like the tug of war & the 3-legged race. We made a great dinner on a grill with both of our friends. It’s funny, because all of us were wearing our swim suits, but only Elise & Annelliott went swimming!

On July 5^th, Elise & I, along with our youngest daughter Ella, all went on a ferry to Bainbridge Island. We went there to see our great friends Bod & Sue, who live in a house that is on the Puget Sound. Elise & Ella went kayaking & Bob & I went on a fantastic walk. Bob recently purchased an old runabout that he anchors near the front of his house. It was so funny that we witnessed an otter that was sitting on the top of the boat
