Hello all of you and good morning…! It is awesome that my oldest daughter Aden is home this week for spring break. Yesterday we were talking about family hiking that we did several years ago. Aden and I also talked about mountain climbing as well, and both of us have climbed Mount Rainier.  After climbing Mount Rainier, I climbed and summited Mount Denali in Alaska which I am so proud of accomplishing. Aden’s next goal is to also climb Denali.

I am so excited to go hiking again with Elise. What are your favorite hikes that you have done?

    My family lives about 10 minutes from the Appalachian Trail in VA. We love to take short hikes on the AT to some of the scenic overlooks. Favorite hikes are the Peaks of Oetter and McAfee knob.

    Any hike is a great hike, but I’d consider Rainier and Denali quite a bit more than a “hike”!
