Hello everyone and good morning…! This Sunday is Easter, and Elise and our youngest daughter Ella are going on a weeklong trip to see some college options in California.

For me when I was looking for a college to attend, I selected a college in the southern part of the US because my mother wanted to move to that area. I didn’t know anything about Clemson University, but that is where I went to college for my first year.  I had a good first year at Clemson, but I didn’t like the college experience. My best friend at Clemson is from the Washington DC area and he lived close to the University of Virginia. I researched UVA and I applied to it as a transfer student. I absolutely loved going there. I am hoping that Ella will consider UVA as a good option for college. I will be happy with whatever college she selects. My hope for her is to make lifelong friendships wherever she goes.
