Hello & very good morning each of you! This month has certainly been a fantastic period of strategic changes that have very positively impacted me on my recovery journey.

It was fantastic that I was able to go snow skiing again, which is something that I have not done since 2019. Elise & I, along with our oldest daughter Aden & her girlfriend Lauren, all drove down to Bend, Oregon for five days. We went on this trip because I had the opportunity to go skiing on Mt. Bachelor with the OAS organization, and I skied with them for three different days. My favorite skiing that I absolutely loved to achieve was when Elise and I both skied down the very longest downhill that I had completed during our trip. Given that the snowy weather has been getting better, and that OAS will be now providing more engagements into early April, then Elise and I will hopefully be attending another skiing trip to Bend.

With respect to a regular basis at our house, I recently had two very exciting things that happened to me. First, up until last week, I have been having two scheduled weekly meetings with both Kate and Chris. Per my request very recently, both agreed to the fact that I want to do our meetings on only one day, instead of two, each week. Our recent establishment of a well-designed and complete workout area has provided me with a ton of new exercise options that I am certainly able to fully complete on my own. We also have a new Sole brand Treadmill in our basement that enables Elise and I to adjust the inclined rate over a lot of stages. This is a new feature for us to be able to manually adjust the up and down heights of the run, for a complete road running experience.

The most meaningful development that happened to me is the fact that I am now able to walk naturally without any more need to use my walking cane for assistance! I have already walked up and down some basic changes is the levels of a floor, but until I get more practice in walking naturally, I will avoid walking up and down sidewalks, etc., for sure…!
